Free pharmacy software from SoftClinic GenX
The SoftClinic GenX Pharmacy app is free to everyone who signs up. It runs the counter — find the medicine, build the bill, take the payment, print the invoice — and it runs in a browser, so there is nothing to install.

Read this before you join. This is a limited-use free version governed by a fair use policy, not the full commercial product. It is a standalone app: the free OPD, Laboratory and Pharmacy apps do not interconnect, so data does not pass between them. If you need the pharmacy connected to OPD, IPD and central inventory, that is the paid SoftClinic GenX platform.

Billing at the counter

- Medicine search as you type, so a line is added without hunting through a list
- Walk-in patient billing for a customer with no record
- Patient registration when you do want to keep the record
- Bills and invoices — everything invoiced, searchable
- Bill PDF, ready to print or send
Payments
- Multiple payment modes on one bill
- Payment summary panel, so the counter sees what is due and what is settled before closing the sale
Scanning
- Scan a prescription with the device camera, or upload an image of one from the gallery
- Scan a QR code by camera, or upload a QR image, to pull up an order without typing
Dashboard
- Today at a glance — revenue, pending and completed orders
- Recent activity, so the counter can see what just happened
- Quick actions for new bill, scan and search
- User profile and settings
What is not in the free version
- Prescriptions and requisitions arriving from a hospital OPD or IPD. The free apps are independent of one another.
- Central inventory, purchase, GRN, stock transfer and expiry management. Those belong to the full SoftClinic GenX inventory module.
- Anything beyond the fair use policy. If your volumes grow past it, we will talk to you about a paid plan rather than switch you off without warning.
